Pay-out Cycle |
Pay-out shall be calculated and disbursed to the Host on a weekly basis and the week is defined from Sunday to Saturday. The pay-out shall be credited every Tuesday/Wednesday for the immediately preceding week. |
Lease Rental & Pay-out to the Host |
For the first 3 months from the onboarding, the Host would be incentivized based on the listing period of the vehicle irrespective of the number of bookings received (the Initial Pay-out Period). The fixed hourly incentive will vary based on the vehicle type and will be communicated at the time of signup/onboarding. Post completion of the Initial Pay-out Period on the Platform, Zoomcar shall compute the weekly rental of the vehicle (the "Lease Rental") as follows: Lease Rental payable is calculated by ->= (Lease Rental taken from the Lessee throughout the booking period) minus (Zoomcar Facilitation Fee) minus (Applicable GST/Income Tax) minus Additional charges for add-on services (if any opted by Host). : Facilitation Fee for Zoomcar shall be equal to 40 percent of the Revenue from Booking /Rental, with adjustments as provided elsewhere in the terms & conditions. For the above computation of Revenue, the revenue from Lessees shall include only the following amounts charged to the Lessee using the vehicle: Per hour tariff charged by Zoomcar (excluding any additional charges or penalties applied) for the actual number of hours Lessees have used the Vehicle (less any discounts given to the Lessees), and Excess kilometre fee. Note: (i) Rental calculated as above shall be inclusive of all applicable taxes. (ii) Zoomcar shall calculate the Lease Rental based on factors like vehicle type, trip duration etc, on behalf of the Host (iii) Any payments made to Host shall be net of deductions for applicable taxes as per prevailing regulations. |
Signup Bonus |
The Host shall be eligible for any signup bonus pertaining to the promotional offers applied at the time of signing up on the Platform. The signup bonus shall be credited to the Host as a part of the first pay-out cycle. |
Referral Policy |
Benefit - both referrer and referee will get the referral bonus as applicable at the time when the referee registers for the Host program. The benefits can only be availed on successful onboarding of the referee and referee makes the first listing on the platform and would be added with the next pay-out cycle as referral bonus for both the referrer and the referee. The referrer will not get the referral bonus if the referee has terminated from the program. |
Shortening/Rescheduling within 24hrs of booking start or booking end. |
Customers will not be able to change booking start time or shorten the booking end time. No refunds will be applicable. Although Customers can anytime extend the booking. |
Late Return |
Late return would be charged on the basis of the amount of time for which the user is late. Late penalty will be much higher than normal booking fee. |
Pricing plan change |
Pricing plan (free km per hour) cannot be changed post booking creation. Pricing will be charged on an half hour basis. |
Free Kilometres |
The free kilometres allotted to the customer will be proportional to the number of hours booked and the flexi package chosen. |
Minimum Duration |
The minimum booking duration for which the prices will be charged is 4 hours. |

Cancellations / Rescheduling |
The Host can cancel or reschedule a Listing before and after the “Listing Start Time”, such that the “Listing Start Time” is delayed or “Listing End Time” is preponed. In all such cases the Host shall be charged an amount based on the Lessee booking(s) affected by such cancellation or rescheduling. Host shall be intimated of such amount prior to cancellation or rescheduling of the Listing. The listing shall be cancelled or rescheduled only post confirmation by the Host on the Platform. |
Vehicle Usage during Listing |
In case the vehicle is used by the Host for personal use during an active listing, an inconvenience fee up to INR 2000 shall be charged if an allocated booking is impacted. |
Designated Parking Location and Car Ready Checklist |
If the vehicle is found to not be available at the Designated Parking Location at the Start Time of any Listing (as per GPS report) or “Car Ready Checklist” is not filled, the Listing shall be cancelled, and the Host shall be liable for any applicable cancellation charges communicated by Zoomcar to compensate the Lessee. |
Fuel |
Host shall ensure that the vehicle is refuelled to full capacity at the start of every booking. In case the Lessee returns the vehicle with lower fuel level than that at the time of trip start, the Lessee will be charged as per actuals and the same will be passed to the Host. |
Cleaning. |
Host shall be responsible for ensuring that the Vehicle is provided to any Lessee in a clean condition. If Host does not provide the vehicle in a clean and hygienic condition to any Lessee, the Host is liable to pay a cleaning fee of up to INR 700 (seven hundred) to compensate for the cleaning done by the Lessee. |
Service & Maintenance |
In the event the Vehicle meets with an accident while in the possession of a Lessee, Zoomcar shall inform the Host of the same and Zoomcar will be responsible for getting the vehicle repaired and bear all related costs (net of insurance proceeds) or pass on the proceeds as recovered from the Lessee. |
Downtime |
For the time that a vehicle is in workshop due to an accident caused by a Lessee during a booking, the Host shall be available for a downtime of INR 300 per day for the number of days the vehicle is in the workshop upto a maximum of 4 weeks. Host shall be eligible for downtime only if the vehicle is not available for more than 24 hours in the calendar month. Downtime shall be credited to the Host in the next pay-out cycle. |
Note: Please note that any payments owed by Hosts under this Fee Policy or other applicable policies will be deducted from the Pay-Outs . If the Pay-Outs does not cover such payments, the balance must be paid by the Host electronically within 24 hours of the booking end time or Listing Period (as applicable), as per Zoomcar’s payment instructions. All charges mentioned here are inclusive of GST wherever applicable.
